*DUI & Driving Offenses*
*Erik Morales,* 20, 3535 Ascot Ct., Island Lake, was arrested 12:23 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, after he was stopped at Hilltop Drive and Willow Street. He was charged with:
· Driving under the influence of alcohol
· DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08
· Underage consumption of alcohol by a minor
· Operating an uninsured motor vehicle
· No valid drivers license
· Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident
· Driving off the roadway
· Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle
· Disregarding a stop sign
· Failure to signal
· Failure to yield from a private drive
· Having no front license plate.
Morales was released on bond.
*Domestic Battery*
*Robert A. Harrington*, 21, 325 Circle Dr., was arrested at 4:26 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the 2000 block of Impressions Drive and charged with domestic battery. Harrington was transported to the McHenry County Jail, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.
*Battery at Marlowe*
*A 13-year-old Huntley boy *was arrested at 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, and charged with battery. The teen was released to his mother.
*Theft of a Registration Sticker*
*Jennifer M. Aremka*, 23, 72 Holly Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, and charged with theft of a registration sticker, unlawful display of registration sticker and expired registration. Aremka was stopped at 6900 Rakow Road (the Rakow Curve). She was released on bond.
*Driving with Suspended License*
*Ellen E. Dueland*, 24, 2028 Bridge Ave., Davenport, Iowa, was arreted at 10:56 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, and charged with driving while license suspended and expired registration. She was stopped at Home Depot, 200 S. Randall Rd. Dueland was released on bond.
*Yates M. Shante*, 21, 426 Summit St., Elgin, was arrested at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, and charged with driving while license suspended. Shante was stopped near Rakow and Virginia roads. She was released on bond.
*Clyde R. Leach, Jr.*, 33, 953 Viewpoint, Lake in the Hills, was arrested 9:04 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, and charged with driving while license suspended and having no valid insurance. Leach was released on bond. Leach was stopped at H&R Block, 2360 Algonquin Rd.
*Expired Drivers License*
*Nora E. Ibarra,* 22, 237 Kathleen Dr. Apt. 8, Elgin, was arrested at 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, and charged with driving with an expired Illinois drivers (expired more than year), and having no insurance. Ibarra was stopped at police near Randall Road and Polaris Drive. Ibarra was released on bond. Reported by Patch 10 hours ago.
